Nyeji Chilembo is Co-Founder and Lead Consultant and Director at Chase Resources a boutique advisory firm that specializes in enterprise development support and project finance for businesses in Zambia. She also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for LendMe Pay Zambia a digital financial services company based in Lusaka. Her 20 year career covers corporate finance, fund management, sovereign debt management and institutional banking. During her time at Standard Chartered Bank Zambia she worked as an Associate Director under Financial Institutions where she managed a portfolio of bank and non- bank financial institutional accounts. She is a former diplomat serving in the United Kingdom and Malaysia providing transaction advisory services related to foreign direct investments, project finance and private equity. She has worked as an Economic Advisor to Plan International Zambia, where she designed an economic empowerment programme for women. Nyeji holds a Master of Science Degree in Development Finance from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Namibia.
